Taking icon requests

It's been a while since I've done one of these, so... request away.

I can do either personalised icons just for you (from a certain picture, with your LJ name, etc), or I can make a batch of icons from some specific subject.

Anything goes - any subject, any fandom (the only thing I'm avoiding spoilers for at the moment are the Angel comics, so anything else is fair game), a tv-show, a movie, a character, a pairing, an episode... even things you know I'm not a fan of ;)

Only caveat is that if it's a subject I haven't iconned before, I'd appreciate a link to a source for good screencaps/images so that I won't have to go googling about. And I can't do animated icons 'cause the software keeps crashing. Also, if you're requesting a fandom that I've already iconned a lot (read: B5, X-Files and Buffyverse) I'd prefer more specific requests (an episode, a scene, a pairing, a character, etc).

And yes, this post is open to anyone who happens across it - you don't have to have ruugericon (or me) friended :)

That's incredibly generous!

I would love an icon for my Rules'verse - which is post-series Faith/Giles. I've seen a lot of beautiful F/G icons based on the comics, which would fit, but if you can create a non-comics image I'd especially like that.

I'm a bit torn on whether to ask for text - if you can work in 'Breaking the Rules', then that's fine, but not necessary.

Oooh. I've been obsessed lately with Farscape and would love some icons and in particular a good icon of Crais - I can't find any at all! So this is fortuitous timing.

There are caps at: http://www.farscapecaps.com/ . I would say Season 1 - Premiere or Family Ties or Season 2 - Mind the Baby, Liars, Guns, & Money Part 3, or Die Me Dichotomy would be good choices to pick from for pictures of Crais.

You mentioned watching the show the other day, so I assume you know who Crais is, but if not let me know and I'll point to some of the caps of him specifically. And if you're not that far and are worried about being spoiled, don't bother.

Lucky you - I'm like a magnet when it comes to spoilers. Though in Farscape's case, it's more that I gave up the hope of ever actually seeing the show years ago and just stopped even trying to avoid getting spoiled.

I don't have a specific scene or episode in mind (I'm bad with the correct English titles anyway). The only thing I could think of would be a "The Slayer and her Vampire" icon. But I look forward to any new icons. :)

6th S&D: Big Brother Program for Vampires
6th S&D: Sunnydale After-Dark Literacy Project
(I couldn't decide which I liked better for that last one.)

Feel free to fiddle with wording if you need to, and if something just doesn't fit, that's fine, too.

Yay! I would like a close-up of Angel from Season 5, "Why We Fight" looking hot in that black turtleneck sweater, but somehow brightened so that you can actually see him. All the screencaps I've found are mucho dark, and I suck at fixing bad lighting.

Also, if you're feeling very ambitious, I would appreciate an icon of Angel, Spike and Connor from Season 5, all looking hot. *g*

Being Human (these seem to be good caps altho I have no clue what constitutes 'good' in this area: http://letseyxcaps.110mb.com/Television/Being%20Human/Beinghuman.html). I like Annie and Gilbert, or the Annie/Mitchell/George just hanging out. I really wanted one of all the tea cups lying about in piles, but couldn't find anyone who'd capped that. (Make a lovely housework icon, wouldn't it?) I would have liked one with Gilbert at his door, but that didn't seem a popular shot either.

As for B5, ones of the Zen garden? There are a couple of nice shots in There All the Honor Lies. With my LJ name, or the words 'Never Alone'?
